A.A.B., dba All About Business Player Update

In only 6 months of existence, A. A. B has made a difference in the development of two young men that are members of All About Business Student-Athlete Programs.  We helped a very talented young man get a Partial Scholarship to Trinity Valley College in Athens,  TX..  Marvin White has been removed from school for a year and was wasting valuable time and talent playing in the YMCA League.  He is now enrolled in school and will be playing on the schools Men's Basketball Team after receiving a Partial Athletic Scholarship..

We also helped convince a very unique young man who dropped out of High School to re-enroll himself back into Can Academy in Fort Worth,  Texas.  Proud to say that Brad Williams has been attending school since the start of the school year and is doing very while.  He's more focused in the classroom and has put the environment, peer pressure of gang's and doing everything but the right thing behind him.  Word's can't express how proud I am of this young man.  He's from the Stop Six Projects and 1 of 16 brothers and sisters.  He's one that's going to prove to himself, his family and the negativity that surrounds him every day that just because I come from nothing doesn't mean I don't stand for something.  I can make it regardless of where I come from.  Keep God 1st, Good People around you that can and will help you.   Most importantly trust in your ability. I know you are a very strong young man but if at any time the pressure of life start to way you down, you know you can call on Ron, V I or myself and we will do all we can to help you.  Keep trusting in God like you do and never lose that smile. You represent what All About Business Inc., is seeking most.  Developing the youth and preparing them for tomorrow.

Personal Message To Marvin: Take this to heart, I'm proud of you.  Use this time to focus on learning as much as you can  and developing your basketball game to help you persue an higher education.  Reach for your dream but educate yourself along the way.  Take school and life opportunities seriously.  Use this time grow and become wiser.  Keep God first, humble yourself, work hard in the classroom (most important) and stay focused on the task at hand.  We praying and pulling for you..     But for every two you save, one is lost.  I'd like to take this time to say something in short about a young man that we lost to the streets. Joseph Davis is a 14 year old kid we meet and took in around the end of the summer, right before school started.  Myself and a couple of family members paid for his trip to Las Vegas, NV on July 22nd thru 26th in hopes of letting him see something different and talk to him about changing the company he keeps and the things we heard he was involved in.  He comes from a broken home and lives on the Westside of Fort Worth, in one of the rough areas of that side of town. I want go into all the details  but I will say this much.  If our young men don't start being leaders and listening to adults that take time to share past experiences in hopes of preventing one of you from making a bad decision. A lot of you will find yourselves in a similar situation. Joseph had a bright future and dreams of playing football but one wrong decision may have cost him that chance and his freedom. The young men that read this from the Fort Worth,  Texas area know who J Davis is.  This is posted in hopes of saving 3 out of 3, instead of 2-3 and in some cases 1-3.  It's time for a change and that change starts with that person you look at in the mirror every morning when you wash your face and brush your teeth. Check your attitude while you are standing there and ask yourself, "Do I lead or follow.  If I lead, is it in a positive way or negative way?  If I follow, is the person I'm following leading me down a RED road or a GREEN road"?  Think young men.
